I would like to start my own event planning company with my mom when I graduate, but she's not all about the idea. So I feel starting a website would show her I'm very serious and she might jump on the bandwagon with me, because without her I won't be able to start a company.
I'd like to have pages that would say things that are needed for birthday parties, weddings, school dances, retirement parties, etc.
Different tabs or pages might outline different themes for parties that include what balloons, flowers, or other ideas that may be useful to the theme.
I would also like to inclue a promotional page as well as a contact page.

ReplyDeleteI have to say that I absolutely love the layout ideas for your event planning website. The great thing about it is that it's not an idea that will all of a sudden die off. A good website is one that will stay updated and last for a good amount of time. Getting started practicing with building this website will strengthen your skills for your future company that you plan on starting with your mom. It's never too early to start getting creative with your ideas. I enjoy the idea of having different tabs/pages featuring these different types of events. The contact and promotional page also add a nice touch to stay familiar with your clients. Great idea!

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great idea. Even planing is so dynamic and intimidating at first. To have a site that narrows things down as that will bring peace of mind to the client and you.
I think you will change the game! With a site like that it will be a lot like one goes online to order a product. But in this case they will customize and send in their order for and event.

What a great use of class time! Anything that can contribute to a future business idea seems like a brilliant way to use your time in college. Event planning seems like an exciting field and giving people free hints on how to make stuff happen is a good way to spread your companies name.

I think event planning is a great idea that could have a lot of information. Even with the economy in bad shape people still feel the need to celebrate for certain occasions, such as weddings, birthdays etc.
